Not everyone likes the same music. What passes as music for some, throws others into serious depression. What some people listen to contains lyrics or messages that should be banned in public usage. They are offensive to many people. There are stations that play sermons all day. We may choose to listen to that kind of station, and be uplifted by it. We realize, though, that we don’t have the right to compel our co-workers to listen to it. Just as it would be unreasonable, and unethical to compel others to listen against their will, so it is unethical to do such in playing non-stop music. For those who like moral messages, the preachers who sing the vilest lyrics are totally unacceptable. To compel them to listen to sermons promoting filth is no different than compelling others to listen to sermons promoting godliness. The musical sermons might even be more powerful. The same short messages are repeated constantly, and with a melody or beat to carry the message.
